It is the mission of the Lighthouse of Hope to bring the
Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to a needy and dying world. It is our goal to
reach every person and to do so having no respect of persons, regardless of
race, color, creed, national origin, or walk of life. It is our desire to
fulfill the great commission Mar 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into
all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature".
The Lighthouse of Hope Apostolic Church also endeavors to keep
the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in an atmosphere Holy and acceptable unto
the Lord. Therefore, providing for every person the same opportunity to
achieve a higher understanding of the scriptures and to live a more pure and
perfect life.
The Lighthouse of Hope holds to the truth of the Apostles Doctrine. Acts 2:42
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,
and in breaking of bread, and in prayer. " We teach salvation through
baptism in full emersion in water under the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and
of the infilling of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in tongues as the
Spirit of God gives the utterance as commanded, Acts 2:38 " Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost."
The Lighthouse of Hope also recognized the necessity of holiness, living a
holy life and maintaining to keep the doctrine of peace in holiness.
Hebrews 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without
which no man shall see the Lord"
Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we
also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside
every weight, and sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with
patience the race that is set before us."
"Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved , building up yourselves on your most holy
faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our
Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating
even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present
you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion
and power, both now and ever. Amen."
